The Call to Prayer during Ramadan is even more beautiful here than during the rest of the year.
It inspired me to write a poem and the picture is a mixture of a painting of mine and a photo of whirling dervishes. (I'm submitting it to a contest by *aribasultan).


RAMADAN - CALL TO PRAYER

While a scream crashes into silence
And turns it into a tumbling cascade of broken glass
The Call to Prayer makes it resonate
Vibrate
Fills it with sound
Like an Oud untouched by a bow
Like sunlight in emerald water

Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar
La Illaha Illa'llah.

Msha'Allah Very Beautiful.....I love that lighting effect indicating the early DAWN (fajr) Time Prayer, what a pleasant feelings are these. :)
